Bionic Rocker Arm

This case study and demonstrator of a casted bionic rocker arm was developed jointly with Amazone, voxeljet and Procast-Guss. The cast component is, compared to the previously welded part, lighter, uses less material, and has an increased durability,.

Robot Bike Co

This hybrid manufactured Mountain Bike from Robot Bike Co, which combines 3D printed structural nodes with a frame of carbon fiber, is proof of an efficient development process, including the design and optimization of various materials and different manufacturing methods.

Cobot - The Collaborative Robot

With this virtual Cobot demonstrator, presented at our booth, we will show development challenges of smart devices and offer solutions.

From 1D to 3D - from sensors to optimized structures and data analytics, all these required development steps can be conducted and solved with Altair's software platform with a Simulation-driven Innovation approach.

System simulation is the basis of load determination, needed for the topology optimization. It ensures lighter structures via bionic inspiration. Only if the structures are light, is it possible to reach the required efficiency, precision and workplace security.

The operation, interaction and the connectivity of modern industrial devices result in a vast amount of data. Handling, analyzing, processing, and visualizing this data can be a challenge. Solutions are offered from Cloud - Edge based Business Intelligence systems.
