This February 2017 issue is full of interesting information. Don't miss a chance to donate to charity by completing our short survey. Be sure to register for our upcoming webinar on 8 March 2017!
Release of FEKO 2017
Some of the new features in FEKO 2017 include:
a new parallelization scheme for FDTD
new improvements to MFLMM and RL-GO, two of our leading solvers to analyze electrically large problems
3D anisotropic materials
a new faster mesh engine
an accelerated MTL solver for EMC cable modeling
the interface with WinProp to simulate installed antennas performances including the radio channel.
Engineers can accelerate their creativity with the new features in Flux 12.2. Improvements in 3D modeling, transient electric studies and dielectric breakdown risks evaluation, new couplings to the Altair suite are some of the features highlighted in this webinar. Flux 12.2 under HWU Licensing is also available through Altair Connect
WinProp is our dedicated tool for wave propagation modelling and radio network planning. WinProp 14.0 installations are now available under HWU licensing and can be downloaded through Altair Connect.
Visit the website for more information on this tool or download the datasheet.
Static Magnetic Hysteresis and Eddy Currents Impact Evaluation on Electromechanical Actuator
Our Flux team in Grenoble has collaborated to write two research articles on the topic of using Jiles-Atherton hysteresis static models. The two papers can be downloaded from the sites for a small fee:
The use of radar applications, previously limited to official users and the military, has recently entered new application areas, resulting in greater general use. This white paper discusses some of the everyday uses of radar systems.
In this video Prof. Duco Pulle walks us through his lab examples of controlling PMSMs covering voltage, current and field oriented controls, using solidThinking Activate.
Join us in Frankenthal, Germany from 26 - 28 June, to see how we can help you change the way you develop products with simulation driven design. This three-day event will be packed with valuable information from technical experts and thought leaders. You don’t want to miss it!
We pride ourselves on providing you, our customer, with simulation technologies to analyze and optimize design, processes and decisions. This survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete. As an incentive we will donate $25 to a charity of your choice as a thank you!
In this webinar Daniel Ung, winner of the 2016 Student Competition will present his winning entry titled Embedded Element Pattern Beam Model for Murchison Widefield Array
